Nikolai James Hanson Soccer Scholarship
To honor the memory and his love for the game the Nikolai James Hanson Soccer Scholarship at Bavarian Soccer Club hopes to ensure that children, who might not otherwise have had the opportunity, can play and fall in love with soccer just as he did. Nikolai Hanson was only 8 years old when he passed away in November 2024, but in his short life he made an enormous impact. A fearless and joyful player, he gave his all on the field and filled every room off the field with his laughter, kindness, and goofy spirit. As his coach said: “You always want ten players like Nikolai on your team: bold, hungry, and full of energy, with a positive attitude that could carry a team."
