 Recreational Teams

     U6-U15 (2009-2018)

REGISTER NOW

Rec players are placed on teams with classmates, friends. Volunteer parent coaches teach the fundamentals of soccer while placing the main focus on having fun, learning the game, fitness, and fair play. 

  • What's Included?

    • Fall (Sep-Nov) practices and games
    • Spring (Apr-Jun) practices and games
    • Uniform kit
    • Friday night game “under the lights” at BUSC

    The registration fee is $410 with an early bird discount ($430 after June 30) and includes a $100 per family volunteer fee, which can be earned back after volunteering 4 or more hours with the club. So, $410/$430 for the first Rec player and $310/$330 for each additional Rec player in your family.


  • Where do I Play?

    Practices are local one day a week in the Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, Fox Point and Glendale area. Games are local for U6-U10 teams. Older teams, U11-U15, that play in the 'D' league will play games across Southeast Wisconsin.


    Fields include River Park, Cumberland, Richards, Klode, Brown Deer Park and Bavarian United SC.

  • Registration Steps

    1. Create an account and register for RECREATIONAL 2023-2024. Registering prior to July guarantees placement on a team. Fees increase on July 1. Registration closes August 15. A series of questions helps us best fit you to a team.
    2. In August, families will receive team, coach and practice information 
    3. Your registration email includes a link for the Bavarian United player's app. The PlayMetrics app/account will auto populate with all your team info.

    Rec participants are welcome to join various Club clinics and programs offered throughout the year.

 Academy Teams

   U8-U10 (2014-2016)

Academy focuses on skill development for the committed younger player. We recognize  that technical development is fluid so pool groups are formed each June during an OPEN HOUSE for the following season year.

  • What's Included?

    • Fall (Sep-Nov) 2 practices per week + games
    • Winter (Jan-Mar) 1 practice per week
    • Spring (Apr-Jun) 2 practices per week + games
    • Tournaments 

    The registration fee is $1075-$1175 and the per player volunteer fee is $225, which can be earned back after volunteering 4 or more hours with the club. Uniforms are not included in player fees. Payment plan available. Financial aid application deadline is July 1.

  • How does Open House Work?

    Joining Academy begins with attending Open House. There is NO fee to participate.

    • Players participate in engaging, challenging activities that should provide sufficient evaluation for the player/parent to determine if Bavarian United  is a good fit.
    • The Program Director will speak with parents regarding philosophy and expectations during the first session.

    We encourage players to attend both sessions to get a better sense of the program. Anyone unable to attend, MUST complete registration and note the absence in comments to be considered.

  • Registration Steps

    1. Create an account and register for OPEN HOUSE 2022. Registration is required. Anyone unable to attend, MUST complete registration and note the absence in comments to be considered.
    2. Coaches will send player invitations via email after the Open House.
    3. Players need to accept or decline the invitation by June 19th to guarantee a spot.  Acceptance is confirmed by completing the registration link and making an initial deposit.
    4. About 1 week after acceptance, players will receive a uniform ordering link and any missing registration paperwork
    5. Specific teams will be determined in September, following 2-3 weeks of training and additional evaluation. 
    6. Late registrations will be accepted on a space available basis.

 Premier Teams

 U11-U19 (2005-2013)

Premier teams are for soccer focused players with multiple teams available at each age level. Emphasis is placed on tactical, high speed training. All interested players must attend TRYOUTS for consideration

  • What's Included?

    • Fall (Sep-Nov) 3 practices per week + games
    • Winter (Jan-Mar) 2 practice per week
    • Spring (Apr-Jun) 3 practices per week + games
    • Tournaments 

    The registration fee is $1850-$2175 and the volunteer fee is $225 per player, which can be earned back after volunteering 4 or more hours with the club. Travel fees are not included player fees. Uniforms are not included in palyer fees. Payment plan available. Financial aid application deadline is July 1.

  • How do Tryouts Work?

    Joining Bavarian United begins with Tryout attendance. There is a $25 registration fee.

    • Anyone unable to attend, MUST complete registration and note the absence in comments to be considered
    • The coaches will assess various factors looked for in players that are a good fit for a team, not simply current aptitude. 
    • Coaches present for evaluation will be the coaching staff for the age group, for the most part
    • Those interested in “playing up” should note this request during registration. Plan to attend the tryout session of your birth year unless a coach reaches out
    • Players help us and themselves to position themselves most favorably when they attend both sessions.

Anyone unable to attend, MUST complete registration and note the absence in comments to be considered.Coaches will send player invitations via email to join a specific team*** 11U & 12U players will be invited to join a pool group and specific teams will be determined in September, following 2-3 weeks of training and additional evaluation**
    2. Players need to accept or decline the invitation by the deadline in the email to guarantee a spot.  Acceptance is confirmed by completing the registration link and making an initial deposit. 
    3. About 1 week after acceptance, players will receive a uniform ordering link and instructions for any other missing registration items. 
    4. Late registrations will be accepted on a space available basis

 Elite

  U13-U19 (2005-2011) Boys

MLS NEXT is the top youth soccer program in the US. Teams travel nationally and train for 10 months. All interested players must attend TRYOUTS for consideration

  • What's Included?

    • Fall (Sep-Nov) 4 practices per week + games
    • Winter (Jan-Mar) 3 practice per week
    • Spring (Apr-Jun) 4 practices per week + games
    • Tournaments 

    MLS NEXT teams train for 10 months, regardless of age. Players are NOT eligible to play for high school teams.


    The registration fee is $2700 and the volunteer fee is $225 per player, which can be earned back after volunteering 4 or more hours with the club. Payment plan available. Financial aid application deadline is July 1.


    **NOTE** MLS NEXT teams have extensive travel.  Coach travel expenses are in addition to team fees.

  • How do Tryouts Work?
